Fairplex Park
The Fairplex Park was opened in 1922 and is located at the home of the annual L.A. County Fair in Pomona, California, among other events. Fairplex Park is the horse racing track that’s located inside the Fairplex area. It also holds a sale of two-year-old thoroughbreds in training each May.

The Fairplex Park has a Grandstand, plenty of room for horse racing fans, and a 5 furlong racetrack. The Fairplex has allocated 250 acres to paved parking and it can accommodate 30,000 vehicles.

There's more than just horse racing going on at the Fairplex Park. The Fairplex Park has full stabling amenities. Many horse racing trainers stable and train their thoroughbreds at Fairplex Park, which is has open training year round. In fact, many horse racing trainers train their thoroughbreds at the Fairplex Park to compete at other horse racing wagering venues around the area. The Fairplex Park is also home to many horse sales and horse shows. Many times training is conducted at the Fairplex Park to showcase a thoroughbred that is going to be up for sale. The Fairplex also houses the Fairplex Equine Center, which has been the site of many regular Southern California horse shows.
