Higher Power leads a trio of horses running here after competing in the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1). Higher Power was third there and won the Pacific Classic Stakes (G1) earlier in the year. 

Math Wizard finished fifth in the Breeders' Cup Classic in his first start since winning the Pennsylvania Derby (G1).

Seeking the Soul was sixth in the Breeders' Cup Classic and will make his third try in the Pegasus World Cup, as will War Story. Seeking the Soul was second last year, while War Story has never finished better than fifth.

Other contenders include Mucho Gusto, Roadster, Tax, Mr Freeze, and True Timber.
